Chapter 21

Solar

"Wake up Duane," I said as I nudged him.

"Not now," Duane said half asleep.

"Get up," I said.

"No," Duane protested.

"Duane, you know I won't leave you until you do," I said

"Please, just a bit more," Duane said.

"Fine, then I guess you wouldn't mind to know something special," I said.

"What is it?" Duane asked.

"It's a surprise," I said. With that, Duane raced out of the room.

Now it's Danny's turn. I went inside his room.

"Wake up sleepy head," I said.

"It's too early," Danny said.

"Look outside," I said. Tired, Danny stood up. The sun stung his eyes. He gasped.
"Fine, you win," Danny said, yawning. Then I went to Sam's room.
"Come on, wake up sleeping beauty," I said. She woke up.
"Good morning dad," Sam said.
"Good morning, sugar pie," I replied. she giggled.
"I'm the oldest girl, not the youngest, Sun is," she said.
"I bet she won't mind if I say 'Good morning sugar pie'," She laughed.
"Good one,"
"Okay, now get up," She stopped laughing, and gave me a confused face.
"Why? You've never woke us up before,"
"It's a surprise,"
"It must be something special,"
"Not really," She rolled her eyes jokingly. I walked out of her room. I went to Miral's room. She was already awake.
"Well, good morning, early-bird,"
"Don't walk in like that, it isn't polite," She said in a know-it-all voice.
"Sorry,"
"Now try again,"
"But....,"
"I don't wanna hear it,"
"Fine," I went outside, and knocked the door.
"Come in,"
"Thanks,"
"Now wasn't that better?"
"I thought you were sleeping,"
"Well don't think,"
"Huh?"
"Know,"
"I'm going now,"
"Knock first!," she shouted after me.
"Okay," I yelled back.
I knocked Star's room door. Silence. I went in.
"Star," I said. I tried again. Still she wouldn't wake up. I touched her head. It was really hot. Oh no, she's sick. I decided to leave her alone, so she can sleep.
"Miral," I called.
"Yeah," she replied.
"Come take care of your sister, she's sick," I said. She came running so fast, she almost fell. I caught her in time. Phew. I went to Moon's room downstairs.
"Knock knock," I said while knocking.
"Who's there?" he replied. I didn't have a joke, so I tried the oldest one in the book.
"Yodelayeh," I said.
"Yodelayeh who?" he asked.
"Yodelayehoo," I said
"Dad!" he protested.
"Sorry! Anyway, I have a surprise," I said.
"What is it?" he asked.
"No telling," I said. I could feel him roll his eyes. "Get ready."
One left, one sour one left. I sighed. Unless...
I went to Sam's room.
"Sam, go wake up Sun," I said.
"Why me?" she asked.
"Because you're the oldest, and I don't wanna go all the way upstairs," I said. She gave me a look.
"Ask Miral, or Star," she said. I sighed.
"Star is sick and Miral is taking care of her," I said.
"Oh no! What about Duane, or Moon, or Danny?" she asked. I took a deeper sigh.
"Forget it," I said angrily.
"I'm sorry, I'll go wake her up," she said as she stood up. I held her back.
"Forget it!" I yelled. She looked at me so sadly. Her lips mouthed "I'm sorry." I regretted yelling at her. But I didn't back down. "You're grounded."
She gasped. "But dad..,"
"I don't wanna hear it," I interrupted. I walked out. Why was I so stupid? Now I have one child angry at me for yelling. Just because she didn't do my work. This is not the first time I yelled, but at Sam? Yes, it's the very first time. I could hear her crying. And what did I ground her from? Eating, working, what?
I took a deep breath and went to Sun's room.
"Sun," I said. Silence. This is weird of her, she usually wakes up by herself, plotting her next revenge, I think. I went inside. She look oh-so-peaceful, and cute. I looked at her face admiring her. She was really beautiful, but her personality is opposite. I know deep down she's a great girl, but she can't express that. I kissed her head. I haven't done that since she was a baby. Moon always had the hugs and kisses. She didn't. She was always excluded. Her mom and I, were the the only people who she truly loved. She loved her mom more than anyone. Maybe after her mom left, she thought she had nothing left. She thought the world turn against her. But we still love her. All of us, even Danny.
I hugged her close to me, she's just like her mom. She opened her eyes, but closed them quickly. She wanted me to hug her, but she was still "sleeping" so she didn't know. I left her alone. I looked at her one more time. She is so innocent.
I went downstairs to see if the were ready. Danny and Duane were fighting over the bathroom, as usual. Sam was in her room, as I told her. Miral was taking care of Star. Sun was in her room. Moon was the only one there, but his face was wet. Was he crying?
This is the worst day ever!

Chapter 20

Duane
I know I didn't do it, I'm positive. I'm really happy no one is blaming me, but they are blaming Sun.  It's unfair, Sun is a nice person, well, me and her don't talk much to each other. I never get the chance. Back on topic, Sun didn't do it, period.
"Duane, meeting," shouted a voice. Ugh, I hate meetings, they are so boring. I went downstairs. I sat down on the ground.
"Now that we're all here we can start," Dad said.
"I'm going upstairs," said Sun.
"Oh, no you're not," said Dad.
"I have a headache," Sun said.
"From what?" Dad asked.
"From everything," Sun said as she stormed off.
"Meeting dismissed," Dad said. I went upstairs to finish cleaning up the bathroom, it was my turn. I hated it. When I was done, I went to Star's room.
"Knock knock," I said.
"Come come," Star answered. She was cleaning her room.
"Later then," I said.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"Nowhere, I'll wait till you're done," I said.
"'Kay," I went to dad, but stopped I found him shouting at Danny.
"What did you hear?" Danny asked me furiously.
"Nothing, I promise," I said in fear.
"Leave him alone," Dad said.
"If you don't want anyone to hear, then don't yell," I said. I went to Miral.
"Hey Mimi," I said.
"What's up?" she asked.
"Nothing much,"' I said.
"Um, Duane can I talk to you for a moment?"
"No,"
"Why?"
"Because when you say that, something bad always happens,"
"Oh, shut up. Anyway, it's important,"
"Fine, later," I went to Sam's room.
"Hey, Samaram,"
"Haha, not funny,"
"Sorry for trying to have a sense of humour,"
"What do you want?"
"I'm going," I went to Moon's room.
"Hiya Moonster,"
"Can you stop with the nicknames?"
"Were you spying on me?"
"No, I have a life,"
"Thanks?"
"Well?"
"Well?"
"Why are you here?"
"Just stopped by to say hi,"
"Hi,"
"Hey, that rhymes,"
"Hey, I don't care,"
"Well,"
"Just find someone to entertain you until I'm done. You know I'm cranky when cleaning,"
"Byes,"
"What?"
"Just finish cleaning,"
I went outside to find something to do, but all I could find were some rocks and stones. One of them was really shiny and colourful. I picked it up. It was so beautiful! I shouldn't show it anyone, they would take it from me. I put it in my pocket, and went to my room.
Life is so hard. I wish I was like Megan. She has her mom, she has money, she has everything! Except well, a good personality.
I looked at my rock, it was really beautiful. It was one of a kind. I held in my hand really tight.
"I wish I was rich," I said. I fell asleep.
Sometimes I really wish it was a permanent sleep.

Chapter 19

Sun
That ungrateful, insensitive, stupid, idiotic boy! I'll just let him see, then he'll be begging on his knees for me. I can't believe he preferred that dolly-molly over me, his twin. I can't wait for that moment, but I won't forgive him that easily. He deserves whatever comes to him. Yeah, that's right.
"Sun, come down here. We need to go to work," someone from downstairs said. I don't know who, but I went downstairs anyway. I walked out, not looking at anyone. Why should I? They all took Mo.. I mean his side. After a long day of work, I put down the money in our box. I was going upstairs, then I stopped. I returned to the money box. I saw the money was less than before, someone stole from our money. I know nobody would take that much money to buy us a meal. Now, that I'm the only one here, they're gonna blame it on me! Even though I can easily argue myself out, this isn't the best time. I ran to dad's work. I'm fast, wow. I don't run a lot, so I never noticed. Focus Sun! I got there in about 7 minutes.
"What's the matter Sun?" Dad asked concerned.
"Our... Money... Box... Was... Stolen... From," I said panting.
"Get back to work! And you, buy something or get outta here!" shouted a man. He was talking to us.
"Hey! You shut up, or I'll make you!" I shouted back.
"Sun, this is my boss, don't let him fire me. If he asks you if you know me say no," Dad whispered.
"Why you little," said the man as he ran toward me. I was running to him, but dad pulled me back and told me to go home. I went home, just because we need more money to make up for our loss. When I got there, Danny and Miral were already home. Miral came beside me and dragged me.
"Hey, let me go, you idiot!" I yelled at her. She ignored me. So I pulled myself free. "What's the matter with you?"
"Do you know who stole from our money box?" she asked. Danny joined her.
"Are you accusing me of stealing?" I asked.
"We asked you a question," said Danny.
"No, I don't," I said.
"Are you sure?" Danny asked.
"Oh, so you think I'm a liar, don't you?" I asked.
"We asked a question," Miral said.
"Well, so did I," I replied.
"You irritate me! We know you have something to do with this. So are you gonna tell the truth, or live to regret it?" Danny said. I looked at Miral, who was as puzzled as I am.
"How do I know you didn't have anything to do with this?" I asked.
"Because we have proof," Danny said.
"Oh, do you?" I said. Danny went to grab the money box. I looked at Miral again, she shrugged in a meaningful way.
"How do you explain this piece of hair?" Danny asked. It was blonde hair, just a teeny piece.
"First of all, if that was my hair, how do you know I didn't just put money in the jar? Second of all, have you considered the fact that almost all of us are blondes?" I was on fire.
"Okay Danny, this is going nowhere. Sun is innocent, she didn't do it. Just because, she is sometimes.. you know, doesn't mean she would do something like this," Miral said. Danny and I looked very confused.
"What did she do to you? Did she threaten you?" Danny asked.
"No, I didn't. Why would I? I am capable of doing things for myself! And why should I be explaining to you? Figure out your problems, then come accusing people," I said. I went upstairs. I took a nap, I was really tired from work. When I woke up, I heard screaming and yelling from all the way downstairs. I went to see what was going on.
"Quiet!" I yelled really loud. They settled down. "What is going on here?"
"Sit down all of you," Dad commanded. We sat down. "I know there has a problem because our money is gone. I don't want anybody pointing fingers. We should trust each other. If you are the person who did it, then come to me at a private time. Have I made myself clear?"
"Crystal," we all said.
"Thank you, and Sun, thanks for calming us down," Dad said. I nodded. I went to my room again. I heard a knock.
"Don't come in," I said.
"Haha, very funny," said Sam. She entered.
"One step closer and it'll be your last," I said. She sat down.
"What's up?" she asked.
"Nothing," I said.
"Cool, sounds interesting,"
"Sure is,"
"Sun,..."
"No!"
"Please,"
"I didn't do it. I can't believe you think I did it!"
"I know you didn't,"
"Huh?"
"I know what happened,"
"Then why are you here?"
"I thought, since Danny thinks it you, that I should tell you,"
"But I thought you didn't like me,"
"We're sisters, we always fight, but that doesn't mean I don't like you,"
"But you never fight with Miral, or her,"
"Because they are the goody kind. You are the tough kind. It's your thing,"
"What book did you read now?"
"Something interesting,"
"What happened then?"

Chapter 18

Moon
"What did she say?" Sun asked.
"Who?" I replied.
"Moon,"
"Sun,"
"So, you don't want to tell me, do you?"
"Tell you what?"
"Moon!"
"What?"
"What did that little brat say?"
"You mean Star?"
"No, I mean your toenails. Yes, her!"
"Pushy!"
"Moon!"
"She didn't say anything, okay?"
"Yes, she did. Tell me Moon,"
"Nothing happened. It was just a brother-sister talk,"
"Fine! Don't tell me. You'll regret this Moon,"
"Why do you think I will?"
"Because you're on your own. I don't even know you,"
"That all?" I asked. She groaned and left the room the same way Star did.
"Sun! Wait!" I screamed out on the stairs waiting for a reply, but I didn't hear anything. I returned to my room and slammed the door behind me, well not too much because I didn't want to cause more trouble. I sat down looking at my hands and touched my face. Where is Moon? The sweet intelligent Moon? I'm becoming more like... I gasped. That was a horrible thought. I need to make this right! I marched upstairs to Danny's room. He must hate me, but I'm not backing down. I knocked the door gently.
"Come in," I heard dad. I walked in, head down, shameful, and everything.
"I'm really sorry Danny. I was just so angry at the moment. I understand if you hate me. I really do. I hope you get better. Thank you for your time," I said in a low voice. I headed to the door.
"Danny doesn't hate you silly. He, in fact, appreciates that you took the courage to come apologize," Dad said. I stood there trying to digest the news. I didn't turn back to them though.
"Moon, come over sit beside me," Danny said. I gulped. I started to walk to the bed.
"Hurry up Moon!" Sam shouted at me. I walked faster, and finally got there.
"Moon, look, it's my fault. Don't feel guilty, okay? I was just furious. Buds?" Danny asked as he sat up a bit. He took out his hand.
"Buds," I said as I smiled.
"Well, everybody's friends now, right?" Dad asked.
"Not everybody," I said under my breath.
"Good then," Dad said when he didn't hear a reply.
"I need to go," I said. I jumped off the bed and ran to Star's room. I knocked the door.
"Who is it?" She asked. I bit my lower lip.
"Me," I said.
"Come in," I walked in and saw her room for the first time.
"Star,"
"Yes, Moon,"
"I'm sorry," I said. I walked to my room.
"Stop! Stop!" I heard Star shout. I waited, and she came running.
"Yes," I said quietly.
"Moon, I'm sorry," She said.
"What? Why?" I asked truly confused.
"I've been really harsh on you, and I think that you shouldn't apologize,"
"Star, I was the stupid boy, I did this. I think you should come with me," I said. I pulled her with me. I opened my room's door. A mix of emotions on Star's face. I felt really happy to show her. I wonder what she will say next.
"You?" she asked. I smiled.
"Yes, me," I answered.
"How could you?" she asked.
"What?" I asked.
"Just leave me alone!" she said as she cried into her hands and ran up. What? Why was she all mad?Ah, whatever. This world is horrible. I can make it better though. If I could only I could find it.
Hey, you wanna know something I hate? Money! I hate it like I hate... let's not go there. I feel unwell today. I just wanna let go of it all, all including life...

Chapter 17

Star
What just happened? I could just slowly open my eyes and see. No, just keep them closed. I'll just walk upstairs to my room, and pretend like nothing happened. Yeah, but I want to know what happened, then again...
Just open them, or leave now! Don't be the centre of attention now. I'll just stay with my eyes close. Almost everyone gasped. I want to know. No! Eventually I'm gonna figure out, so what the heck? I slowly opened my eyes. OMG! Oh my god, oh my god, OH MY GOD! I should have let my eyes close. No, I need to know the truth.
"Ma-ma-ma-Moon....," Sam said. He was breathing heavily. That did not just happen! No he couldn't have done it. I refuse to believe it. My eyes filled with tears. Silence. I ran up to my room in a flashing second, then I came out but just sat on the stairs waiting for someone to break the silence. No one could see me. Even dad was speechless.
"I'm really sorry," Moon said slowly. Danny's eyes filled with hatred. He stormed to the attic passing me. He even hit me with his foot on purpose. Ouch, but I kept silent. I moved to the side as I heard Danny close the door shut behind him, I mean slam. He was carrying a bag. I watched him curiously. He looked at me in a way that said "shut up your attitude or you're next". I immediately looked away. Then he went to the basement. He went into the kitchen and handed Moon and Sun the bags, well actually shoved them in their hands.
"Get out!" Danny said. Get out? Wait, he can't do that, can he?
"No," Sun replied.
"Daniel Galaxy!" Dad exclaimed.
"What?!" Danny answered.
"You CAN'T do that," Dad said.
"Oh yes I can, just watch me," Danny replied. It was so intense at that moment, I just sat there, looking shocked. Danny took Moon and Sun's hands and started walking to the door. Sun pulled back, and eventually got free. Then dad went into the scene.
"Leave them alone now!" Dad shouted.
"No!" Danny shouted back. I looked at Miral, Sam, and Duane. They had terrifying looks on their faces.
"Miral," I whispered. I don't think she heard me, but Duane did. He came and sat beside me.
"Star," said Duane.
"Yeah," I said.
"I think we should help them. I know you don't like Sun, but she's still your sister. Please," said Duane.
"Who said I didn't like Sun? And what can we do?" I said, surprised that Duane knew that.
"I'm not dumb, you know. Let's get Moon out of Danny's grip," he said.
"I thought you liked Danny best,"
"Well, he has crossed the line," Duane said. I could see him becoming more mature everyday. I smiled at that fact. Then I clenched my right fist.
"Let's go," I said. We went downstairs to the kitchen. I tapped Sam, and Miral. I shifted my head to the fight. They got the message. Sun took a big risk by going behind Danny and pulling, but he couldn't elbow her because he was holding Moon. After a while, Moon's arm started to hurt. He did something I would've never expected. He kicked Danny in his stomach. Ow! Danny released him, fell on his knees, holding his stomach. It must have hurt a lot. I couldn't see a tear in his eye though. I would've finished all the tears in my body 20 seconds tops. All of us looked from Moon to Danny, who as in deep pain. I wanted to help him, but I thought he would reject me harshly.
"Danny," Dad said softly. He went to comfort him, I bet he didn't have the energy to reject him. We all went to him, even Sun. I think she actually felt sympathy for him, no I bet it's just guilt. I rubbed his stomach in circles. I could see that was pleasing him. Then, I suddenly realized something. A couple of days ago, we were so sad to leave each other, now that we have each other, we want to separate one another. We are one weird family.
"Danny, will you be okay?" Miral asked.
"I guess so," Danny said. Wait, what? Danny was being.... nice? No, I must have mistaken myself.
"Do you need anything?" Sam asked,
"No thank you. May I go upstairs? I feel like I need to lay down properly," said Danny.
"Don't you think....?" I asked, then I shut up.
"What?" Duane asked.
"Never mind, I was thinking aloud," I said, then I smiled. Duane was confused, and he frowned. I love Duane, he is so sweet, but he worries too much. Me and him, aren't that close, but I love him sometimes more than Sam. Which is sort of weird.
"I'll help too," I volunteered.
"Why don't all of you help? Someone go make the bed ready," Dad said.
"I'll do it," Sam said, but not cheerfully. She raced upstairs, and we helped Danny. I know we're making a big fuss out of it, but my family worries too much, because we don't have that kind of money. Miral and Dad held his hands. Moon and Sun just finished their breakfast.
"Excuse me, can you finish the job?" I asked halfway there.
"Sure," Dad said, I felt like I wasn't doing anything when dad said that. I frowned, then went downstairs to the kitchen again.
"Hey!" I said, with my hand on my hips. Sun looked at me and raised an eyebrow.
"What peach-face?" Sun said. I looked at Moon.
"You just kicked Danny, and you won't even help him?" I asked furiously.
"Listen, dolly-molly, he tried to... Why am I explaining to you?" asked Sun.
"Because, I am your sister, and I asked you a question. After all, I helped you too," I said.
"Yeah, like you did anything," said Sun, which only got me more furious and angry.
"I most certainly did. You heartless beast. Moon, aren't you gonna say something? Sun doesn't control you, you have a mind of your own. Look at yourself, eating while the person...." I said, until Moon interrupted me.
"I was only defending myself, and who said Sun tells me what to do?" Moon asked.
"Moon, w-what have you become?" I asked. Before I got an answer, I ran upstairs, and sat in my usual spot, spying on them. When they were done, each went to their own room. I made myself look as if I'm coming downstairs. Then when Sun was out of sight, I went to Moon. I knocked the door.
"Who is it?" asked Moon, with no emotion.
"Me, Star," I said.
"Come in," he said. I heard lots of sounds before I went inside.
"Hi, Moon," I said gently.
"Hey, Star," said Moon.
"Moon, can you please explain what happened?" I asked.
"Nothing!" he said.
"Moon...," I said.
"Look Star, nothing happened, okay? I'm still Moon, I just have to cope with the fact that people won't look the same at me,"
"I'm sorry, but you were so mean. I can get past the fact that you hurt Danny. But you didn't even help him, or say sorry the second time,"
"Did you see what happened the first time I said sorry?"
"Yes, I know. Moon, I think this is just because you haven't gotten to know Danny. I mean like he would never do something like this to Duane. Sun, because she.. well you know. You, because well no need for repeating myself,"
"Gotten to know him? That boy is just a politer version of an older male Sun,"
"Sun, and Danny have nothing in common,"
"Yeah, they do. Being....."
"Being?"
"Never mind,"
"Do you trust me?"
"Um, well, I haven't known you for long time. Me and you are like two Galaxies apart,"
"Good use of words there, haha. You, and I are like Duane and I sort of,"
"No, I know you like Duane better,"
"No, I don't. I like you guys even,"
"Don't play games with me,"
"What are you talking about?"
"Look, I'm not dumb. I'm might be Sun's, your least favourite person in this planet, twin but I'm not like her,"
"First of all, I never said you were, second of all Sun isn't my least favourite, lastly I know you aren't,"
"Can we talk later?" Moon asked, as he heard the door knocking.
"Sure," I said. I opened the door and saw Sun.
"Bye, twinkle," said Sun. I groaned loudly and went out.

Chapter 16

Miral
My dad and Sam came back very happy. It made me happy, even though I didn't know what happened.
"Kids, guess what?" Dad said.
"First of all, stop calling me a kid," Sun said. She should respect dad more.
"Sorry, Sunshine. Now we can go home, all because of your darling sister Samantha," said Dad. Sam took a step forward, showing us that we should clap. Moon, Duane, Star, and I clapped. Danny, and Sun didn't even bother. Sam bowed.
"Thank you dad, and Sam," I said. Dad gave me a warning look. "Sam-Samantha."
"Dad," Sam whined.
"Sweet-pie we have names, I didn't name you Sam. Now let's go home," said Dad. This is a rip-off and I know it.
"Dad? Isn't it weird that somebody would want us?" I asked.
"Not at all, why do you ask?" he said.
"Never mind, it's just a thought," I said. We all walked home on that horrible rain day. We didn't even have umbrellas. Then again, I'd rather have food since we are barely outside. Then we finally reached home and cleaned up.
"So, what did you do Mrs. Perfect to let us go home?" asked Sun sarcastically. Sam rolled her eyes.
"I got a part in a commercial," Sam said proudly.
"Oh, shut up. All you do is blab all day," said Sun. Like what the heck? That girl should get a lesson from somebody. At least Sam something that kept us together.
"Then why did you ask? Precious Sunshine?" asked Sam mockingly.
"Don't call me Sunshine unless you want it to be your last word on Earth," Sun said while clenching her fists.
"Girls, don't fight. And Sunny, please would you lay it off for one poor day?" begged Dad.
"Just leave me alone," said Sun as she went upstairs to her room.
"I'll..." I said.
"No, you'll go to bed right now, all of you. Except Daniel, now go!" said Dad. Moody much? Sam, Star, Moon, Duane, and I marched right away without any question. My room, and Star's are connected, and we crawl through a hole to talk to each other. But today was too dangerous so we just talked through it, if dad came we would just close our eyes.
"S," I said.
"Yeah,"
"What do you think happened?"
"I dunno,"
"Um, S?"
"Yeah,"
"You and me are......"
"Are?"
"Close, right?"
"No, M, no,"
"Okay, I get it, sorry. I wanna talk to you about something you might not like,"
"Ugh, do we have to?"
"Yes, so?"
"I don't wanna,"
"Star,"
"Miral,"
"If you listen, your gonna wish I told you this before,"
"Fine! Just get it over with,"
"Well......," I said. We got into a big conversation. Well, until dad came, and I actually fell asleep. The next morning came. And Sun, yes Sun, came into my room.
"Can I help you?" I asked.
"Yes, you can," she replied.
"May I help you?" I asked.
"That's better,"
"What do you want?"
"Pushy much?"
"Shut up! Did you come here to make a morning fight?"
"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't,"
"Wow, what an excellent answer, now get out!"
"Nah,"
"DAD!"
"Crybaby,"
"Idiot,"
"Dumbo,"
"Get a life, cause I know why you're acting like this,"
"You think you know everything,"
"Sure, anyways, I don't have time to play with you," I said and headed to the door. Sun stood in my way.
"Have you talked to Moon recently?" she asked.
"Maybe I have, maybe I haven't," I said, snap-snap-snap. I didn't touch her, but I wanted to get away. "Move it!"
"No!"
"You are so annoying! Go bug somebody your own size, so they can beat you up without you being able to say something,"
"Beat me up? Pfft..,"
"Sun, please my darling sister may you move so I can go?"
"Nope," she said.
"That's it!" I said. I pushed her outta the way, and she came chasing me furiously. I stopped to see what she would do if no one was there to see her.
"You idiot!" she yelled at me.
"Okay, you have been disrespectful to everyone, and no one has done anything about it. But I am drawing the line! You should learn to act more responsibly, or else," I said.
"I don't need to hear lies from a big fat liar like you." said Sun. Wow, first she acts all sweet around me, then she just starts being as mean as a bully.
"So I'm the liar now, you are such a big baby. One day, someone will show you right from wrong, and you do not want that day to be today," I said, she finally went and left me. I dunno why, but she just did. So I completed my morning activities, and went downstairs.
"Good morning, my star," dad said to me.
"Hey!" said Star. We laughed.
"I'm just joking," said dad after wiping a tear from his eye.
"Just give me my food and let me leave," Sun said ruining the moment.
"Sure, Miral, hand her, her plate," dad said.
"No thanks, I don't want my food to get contaminated," said Sun.
"Like you aren't gonna make it more than it already is since you came into her," I said.
"Dad, just give me my food," said Sun.
"What's the magic word?" said dad as he raised his eyebrow.
"Give me my food, or else," replied Sun.
"Hey, you! Respect him, or else I'll make you regret living," Danny said.
"Well, listen 'Big Guy' you are not the boss of me, I do what I want, when I want," Sun said. Danny raised his hand. I closed my eye, and I heard slap, ouch. Oh my god, Danny couldn't have. I opened my eyes. But wait, Sun wasn't hurt or anything.................

Chapter 15

Sam
"Hello," I said, trying hard not to make a bad first impression. Though I was still wondering why they took Danny away, er, Daniel.
"Hello," said the man. I could see he was frustrated. He was holding an ice pack against his cheek. So I guess Danny, ugh Daniel, must've slapped him. Sometimes I wonder, do I belong to my family?
"I am ready," I said.
"Are you like your brother?" he asked. What was he thinking? I don't use violence to cover my anger, I reason logically. "Well, are you?"
"I...I guess not," I said. I'm a little like him I admit. He didn't seem to like my answer, so I just ignored him.
"Let's begin," he said angry. It's not my fault my brother slapped you, so you shouldn't take out your anger on me. "I think you should understand that your brother isn't gonna be happy with the results he gets when he knows about this little incident."
Why was he talking to me about this? I'm not Daniel. This is about me. I always feel like I'm upstaged, even in the wrong moments.
"Okay, now can we start please?" I asked, I've only met him and I already don't like him.
"Fine! Your father, as Daniel said, hasn't explained to you, is that statement accurate?" He asked suspiciously. My family doesn't lie! And my brother is a very trustworthy person. All the Galaxy's were.
"Yes, sir. It is very accurate indeed," I said trying to look as sophisticated as him, though I felt it made it look like  a lie, since people who answer with most of the question is most likely to be lying.
"Are you sure Samantha?" he asked, I knew it.
"Yes, sir. But I have a small request," I said.
"Yes," he said.
"Call me Sam, it's way easier than Samantha. And may I ask that why do you suspect me lying?" I said.
"And why is that Samantha?" he said innocently ignoring my request.
"I said Sam! Well it's really obvious, and I'm a teen so don't take me as a fool," I said. Oh no, I'm showing bad attitude already.
"And you said that you are not that like your brother," he said. I let out a big groan and rolled my eyes.
"Look "sir" can we finish this up please soon? I want to get out of here asap," I said rudely. He looked at me with eyes full of anger. I raised my eyebrow.
"You are very rude, so pick up your attitude young lady, or no one will want to adopt you. Then you'll go to the orphanage, and boy-o-boy don't I see that right now," he said. I glared at him.
"I'm guessing you're an only child. You've never went through hardship, have you?" I asked.
"Would you shut up already?" he asked.
"I would if you would shut up your face," I said. Man! I can see why Danny slapped him now. He is so irritating. I hope I can hold my anger for that long. I mean me, the sweet girl who keeps the peace, is fighting and being rude. Oh, please forgive me.
"Listen, I'm not your boyfriend that you give attitude to, so you'd better respect me,"
"If you were my boyfriend, I'd be dead by now. I couldn't stand you for an hour. And have you even heard of the quote 'Treat the way you want to be treated,'?"
"Yes, I went to school, while you miss poor-rude-and-not-raised-properly didn't,"
"WHAT?!"
"You heard me,"
"How dare you?"
"Oh please, what are you going to do about it? Huh?"
"Do you really wanna go there?"
"Yes, I'm so scared," I smirked at him, while he was still mocking me. I clapped. He looked confused. My dad came in.
"Yes, princess," He said. I took out this recording machine that those people gave me. The man looked scared, he "accidentally" dropped his name tag. I picked it up and saw the name. It was Mr. Martin.
"I wanted to show you this," I said so innocently that you'd think that I was an angel. I played the part when he exactly where he insulted me. And boy-o-boy that didn't make my dad happy. He took my hand and walked out of the room dragging me. He took the the recording machine and showed it to the manager of the place. He didn't seem happy either.
"I would like to thank you, for finding the misleading employee that was messing up our system," He said, his name tag said Mr. Stevens. We smiled at him.
"Why your daughter has the most beautifulest smile I have ever seen, though her teeth are a bit dirty," He said. I frowned.  He searched his drawers, then he called his assistant.
"At your service Mr. Stevens," she said. He smiled at her politeness.
"May you run across the street and buy me a toothbrush and toothpaste," He asked.
"Sure," she said with any further discussion. She raced off.
"I want to give you an offer," he said.
"What is it?" my dad asked so quickly that you'd think Mr. Stevens didn't finish his sentence.
"Your daughter Sam can enter a commercial, and possibly your other children," he said. My dad eye's widened.
"Oh, thank you. I accept!" he said very happy. I giggled at my dad."May, I just ask a question?"
"Sure," Mr. Stevens answered without hesitation.
"Will it be enough money for me to keep my kids?" my dad asked so nervously and shyly he turned as red as a tomato. Mr. S chuckled.
"Yes, it will," he said as he smiled. My dad jumped out of his chair and hugged me. He was squeezing me too hard, but I didn't want to ruin the moment.



Wow, guess you never know what happens until you do it. How lucky is Solar and his kids? Very, if you ask me.

Chapter 14

Danny
I just couldn't believe my dad would leave us. It's enough that my mom had to go. After we did our "fun thing" we talked a lot, shared some laughs and memories. All except Sun. What's up with that girl? I should beat her up just to teach who is the boss here. Today is the day we let go of one another. I don't care, if my dad thinks he can win us back, then he is so out of his mind. What kind of government is this anyway?
"Okay kids, we have to go," my dad said. I could see that he was sad but trying to act okay on the outside so we wouldn't be sad. I don't know about them but this ain't fooling me.
"Dad," I pleaded, "Can we please ditch that and run away somewhere far, where that no one could........?"
"No, this government is powerful and I bet has the money to track us down," said dad interrupting me. I could see that he was mad, because dad never interrupted anyone otherwise. We started walking to the place dad was going to take us to. On the way, Star tugged my shirt. I turned to her.
"Danny," she whispered.
"Yeah," I replied.
"I don't wanna go." she said.
"I can't do anything about it," I said. Her eyes were about to fill with tears.
"Don't cry Star," I said trying to calm her down.
"I can't help it," she said.
"We're here," dad announced. I was a bit relieved because everyone was looking at us. I mean seven poor kids walking with their father. We went inside and a woman greeted us.
"Hello, you must be Solar Galaxy. Right on time," she said quickly. She led us to where we should sit. A man called me.
"Daniel Galaxy," he read from his clipboard. I stood up and went towards him without looking back. I went inside. I sat down.
"Hello, Daniel," he said.
"Hello. You can call me Danny," I said.
"I'll just call you Daniel. Now Daniel has your dad told you about what you would be doing?" he asked refusing my offer.
"Kind of, but he said you would explain everything here,"
"Okay, so you and your family are living in unacceptable conditions.....,"
"What do mean "unacceptable"?"
"I mean that you are not living in sanitary conditions. Now don't cut me off Daniel,............." he started explaining everything. I was getting really bored.
"And, I will let you choose the family you want to be in," he said finally. "Choose the family you want to be in"? I wouldn't want to be in other family, but at least I got the choice.
"Show me them," I said. He started showing me a lot of families that would want me. Me, not anyone else. I felt wanted. The choice was hard, I mean leaving my family to go to another.
"No," I finally said.
"No, what?" he asked.
"I wont choose anyone, I already have a family. I don't care what you could do to me with money. I want my real family and my decision is final!" I said. I could see he wasn't pleased.
"Daniel Galaxy, stop this foolishness right now! If you were smart you would realize that if you go to another family, you could get great education and a job. When you get real money you could buy a house and stay with your stupid-o-loved family," he said. I raised my hand and slapped him across his face. How dare he say my family is stupid?
"Security!" he exclaimed. I knew I was in trouble. My dad came barging in with a bunch of other big dudes.
"Danny, what happened?" he asked. I kept silent.
"He slapped me in the face, that's what happened!" that guy shouted while rubbing his cheek.
"Daniel!" my dad yelled. Okay, I know this wasn't the best time to laugh, but that guy was hilarious, you should give me credit for not laughing.
"Well, he said something that made me do it," I said, trying to show he was also guilty.
"Daniel, come with me we need to talk," said dad. Uh-oh. We walked out as Sam went in.
"Dad stop calling me 'Daniel', call me Danny," I said. He knew how much I hated that name.
"Stop trying to change the subject. Why did you slap him?" my dad asked furious. I knew this wasn't a time to joke.
"He-he-he.........," I couldn't complete my sentence.
"He what?" my dad asked even more angry,
"He called my family stupid," I finally said.
"That's it?" my dad asked expecting for more.
"Yes," I said with confidence. He shook his head. He took a deep breath.
"You can't just slap people, so what if they called us stupid? We aren't even smart," he said.
"You aren't smart by letting this get away," I said.
"Really? That's what you think? Well think again, these people are here to help us not tell us things like that," he said. I thought this all got to his head. He was acting like this was actually a positive thing. I need to save him. I need to save my dad.


Is Danny right? Has Solar lost his mind? Or is Solar fooling Danny? Hmm,.........

The house

As you know the seven kids and their father live in a house. I know you have been wondering how it looks like. Here is how it looks:
It's an old house, that people didn't want because it was damaged. It's in a horrible condition. Everyday everyone would choose a place to clean plus their room. so it is getting better. It has three floors. The first floor has a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, and a dining room. The second floor has 3 rooms and a bathroom. The third floor has 3 bedrooms also and a bathroom. The house has and attic and a basement. These guys are really lucky to find a house like this. Solar's room is on the second floor. as well as Duane and Danny. Samantha, Miral, and Star's room. Moon stays in the basement, and Sun stays in the attic. Every room is different than the other.

Chapter 13

Solar
I just couldn't break out the news. I thought it would make everything worse, as it has just became better. No, Solar, I must tell them. Sooner or later they would figure out. I think it would be better if I told them, and not let them figure it out. I took a deep breath and tried not to cry.
"Kids, I love you. Something has happened since I was gone. This is really important, so all of you listen to me," I saw my voice grow serious, all of them looked at me in a really sad way. They knew bad news was coming, as I already told them. I just wish I could do something about it.
"Yes, dad," said Samantha as she looked at me. I could see her eyes full with tears. I was about to cry too, but I held it in.
"The government, has said that, I could not......," My voice began to trail off. I saw a blur and knew I was crying. so I wiped my face as fast as I could. "I could not keep you anymore," I continued. All of them looked at me in shock. I could hear them breathing louder.
"W-W-What?" stammered Miral. I knew she would be the first to object, because of her sweet heart.
"I have to go to them tomorrow and check you guys off, everyone of you will go either to adoption or to a family," I said. The weird thing is that none of them cried. All they did is look at me.
"Tomorrow?" asked Duane. I wanted to complete what I was going to say, but they wouldn't let me.
"Yes, tomorrow. Today is the last day you can spend with each other, I will only be able to visit each of you every once in a month, not more. None of you can visit each other except by an accident. You can't run away. You must stay. What do you know maybe one of you will like where they are staying." I said trying to cheer them up.
"What about you?" asked Duane.
"They haven't decided yet. I'd rather we do whatever we want to do now. They will explain everything to you later," I said encouragingly.
"This is all my fault," said Duane. I knew it was his fault but I wouldn't say that to him.
"No it isn't Duane, sooner or later this would've happened," I said. What do they think now. Why hasn't Danny opened his mouth and said something? Maybe he was happy. No, that's not it. Maybe.........
"This is unacceptable," Danny finally said. "How could you do this to us? I thought you loved us and wouldn't ever let us go." He said to Duane then me.
"Daniel, it isn't nor my or Duane's fault. This government is horrible. You know I love you. I tried my best to stop this, but I am not all that powerful. They said they'd give me a test. One last chance. I have to take one child, live with them. And they would give me money and see what I would spend it on. If I am successful, they would give you back and give us a new house to live in," I knew that wasn't the best response, but why should I be afraid of my kid?
"Who did you pick?" Miral, my sweet dear, asked. I wanted to not answer and stay silent, but I knew better than that.
"I didn't pick anyone, they picked for me," I knew they were going to ask who. but I remained silent until they asked themselves.
"Who?" asked Sun in her tough voice. I knew that Sun wouldn't be as much of a joy around the new house she is going to. I took a deep breath.
"Star," I finally said. She looked at me, she looked as she had a mix of emotions right now.
"Always Star Star Star, why not us? Is it because me and Moon are twins? Star this, Star that. I hate you! I wish my new family would take me right now!" shouted Sun in my face. For a 10 year old I would say that was impressive. I was really hurt by her saying "I hate you!". That little girl was a load of, a load of.... I couldn't think of a word.
"As I said I didn't pick anyone, they chose Star because she is in the middle. I had nothing to do with it. Sun you need to learn to respect other people. You will listen to me young girl because I am your father!" I wanted revenge, I want to teach that girl a lesson.
"No you're not," she said softly.
"What do you mean?" I said truly confused.
"I have a new family, and you're not part of it," she said. I knew Sun was the tough type. She could hurt you without even touching you. she could be a bully. I know she has a soft spot in her, but I just don't know where. I thought that thinking that much would waste my time.
"Am I not?" I asked her in a mysterious voice.
"No," she replied with confidence.
"Well since you are so happy about going to your new family I don't think there is a reason I should have kept you anyway," I said.
"I have wanted all these years to live in a wealthy place like Harry. But no I had to live with Mr. Poor," she said.
"At least I try to make you live in a place that would make you happy, I could have done anything for you if I had the money," I said.
"I'd rather live with anyone but you. I was always the person you thought less of. You thought I'd never be like anyone else. If you had the choice between me and wealth, you'd pick wealth. On the other hand, if it were Star and wealth you'd pick Star," she said.
"I am not part of your conversation," said Star.
"Do you want to sit here and argue or go somewhere and do something fun?" I asked trying to change the subject.
"Pass, you guys go, I want to sleep," she said. Even though it was only 5pm. She never slept before her regular bedtime. I shrugged.
"Oh well, let's go kids," I said. I picked her up and went. I knew she wanted to come. We started walking. As I knew this could be the last time I would see my kids.


This isn't bad. This is horrible! Last time possibly seeing your kids. One says they hate you. Other just sitting down not saying a word. Fighting on their last day. What could be worse?

Chapter 12

"Okay, I wont tell anyone," said Duane genuinely.
"Me and your dad were talking about you guys going to school," said Sparkle. Duane gasped.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you," said Duane excited.
"Duane, the first days of school aren't that easy. You have to make a good first impression. You need to be who you are. You need to do a lot of stuff," said Sparkle.
"Don't worry, Sam will help me," said Duane.
"Um, Duane. In school you are put in classes depending on your age. So unfortunately, she wont be with you. Only Moon and Sun will be with each other," said Sparkle. Duane frowned. "Why them? I want someone to be with me so I don't be alone," said Duane.
"You can make new friends,"
"No, I want my family, in fact if no one is going to be with me I don't want to go to school,"
"Duane, please. Do you know how much your dad went through to make a place for you in school?"
"I don't care,"
"That isn't nice. All you wanted is to go to school. Here is your chance and you refuse it for such an unreasonable fact,"
"You don't understand,"
"Duane, you will go to school whether you like it or not. Your dad went through a lot. You should be thankful. I can't believe a boy like you. I would be so happy if I had such a dad. But a boy like you wouldn't understand!,"
"You aren't my mother!" shouted Duane as he walked to his dad.
"Such an ungrateful boy," thought Sparkle. She went to her car. Solar stopped her.
"Wait, I couldn't thank you enough..................," said Solar. As he was talking Sparkle was looking at Duane muttering to himself. ".............And I wish you a happy life. Please come visit again. Maybe we could talk about that job. Sorry if I was boring you, I know you have a busy schedule,"
"Not at all, I am always happy to help. Okay, I have got to go, bye," said Sparkle. She drove away. Solar looked at his kids.
"Duane, where did you go? I am furious at you. And Danny, I hope you didn't do anything to Harry, while I was gone. Samantha, did any of you fight? Sun, what did you do while I was gone?" said Solar quickly.
"Well.........," said Danny.
"I am sorry daddy. I went to find you but I couldn't," said Duane innocently.
"What did you do Danny?" asked Solar angry.
"Take it away Sun," said Danny. Sun shot a look at Danny.
"I kinda yelled at him," said Sun nervously.
"Sun, what did I tell you about behaving if I am gone?" asked Solar.
"Don't tell lies, be kind, and always say please and thank you," recited Sun.
"Yes, and which rule did you break?" asked Solar.
"Be kind," said Sun. Star giggled really quietly. Sun heard her.
"Yes, and what should you say if you meet Harry again?" asked Solar.
"I'm sorry, dad can me and Star do some sister bonding inside?" asked Sun.
"I never said yes!" said Star.
"Star go do some sister bonding with Sun, but after........," said Solar.
"After what?" asked Miral.
"After I tell you good and bad news," said Solar.
"Bad news first," said Sam.
"The bad news is that we have to work harder and get more money to buy clothes and other stuff," said Solar.
"The good news?" asked Moon.
"You guys are going to school!" shouted Solar. They all cheered except Duane.
"What's the matter Little D?" asked Danny.
"Nothing, just leave me alone. And don't call me Little D anymore. My name is Duane," said Duane. He crossed his arms.
"You love the name Little D. What happened?" asked Danny.
"I am just really depressed," said Duane.
"Kids, I have worse news," said Solar.

Chapter 11

Solar looked up at the sky and clouds. He thought of how he would make his kids happy if he could get the money to buy a real house.
"I am such a lousy father," said Solar sadly.
"What?" asked Sparkle.
"Was I talking aloud? Sorry," said Solar embarrassed.
"I don't see why you apologized,"
"No particular reason,"
"So tell me about your second biggest child,"
"Samantha?"
"Yes,"
"She is really a good girl,"
"And?"
"What else do you want to know about her?"
"What's her age?"
"14,"
"Where have I heard these names before?"
"In school....,"
"No, before that!"
"I wasn't with you to know,"
"I never said you were,"
"I never said you did say that,"
"Do we need to fight?"
"No,"
"I just remembered something, you asked about Mona right?"
"Yeah, but it's not important,"
"Well I saw Megan a few days ago, and I think I saw Harry too,"
"Where?"
"In this place that looked like people were living, but it wasn't a house. It was, ack, I can't remember,"
"Wait was it a very empty space, with lots of kids?"
"Yes, you know that place?"
"Yeah!"

"It's my home!"

"Take me there!"
"We are getting there!"
"Are we almost there?"
"Yes, just be patient! You should drive and see how fast I can get there,"

"Thank you, hey! We are here!" said Sparkle as she pulled over her car. Solar smiled. They got off the car.
"Solar!" shouted Harry. He stood up and ran towards him. His eyes opened wide.
"Harry, I am so sorry. I got stuck and I couldn't find the way. I am just so.....," said Solar.
"It's okay. Now I can go home and rest, bye Solar," said Harry. He ran to his car and went off very fast.
"Danny, Sam, Miral, Star, Moon, Sun, and Duane; I am home!" exclaimed Solar. Danny came and saw his dad. He was so happy.
"Dad! You're home, I missed you so much. I mean dad you're back," said Danny.
"Yes, I am," said Solar.
"Um dad, woman... girl..... behind you, with car," said Danny stammering.
"Oh, hello Daniel. I am just a friend of your dad," said Sparkle.
"Call me Danny, please. You and my dad are friends?" asked Danny suspiciously. Solar and Sparkle looked at each other confused.
"Um, yes. We are close friends," said Sparkle.
"Dad how come........," said Danny. Miral interrupted Danny, when she, Star, Sam, and Duane came running.
"Dad!" shouted Miral. They hugged him.
"Hello, Miral, Samantha, Star, and Duane," said Solar.
"Duane?" said Sparkle. Her eyes opened wide.
"Hey, you are..........," said Duane. Sparkle held his mouth and took him by the hand.
"Just a sec," said Sparkle. She went behind the ruined house.
"Hey!" said Duane after Sparkle let him go.
"Do you remember me Duane?" asked Sparkle.
"Yes," said Duane. He hugged her.
"I missed you," said Sparkle.
"Me too, but why did you run off that day?" said Duane.
"Sorry, I had to go, but more importantly don't tell anyone I know you" said Sparkle.
"Why?" asked Duane.
"I don't want anyone to know, because of personal reasons," said Sparkle.
"Are you a spy undercover?" asked Duane fascinated. Sparkle laughed.
"No, just listen," said Sparkle.



This woman must be a spy! Haha!

Chapter 10

"Wait, so we weren't friends and you are just using me?" asked Sam offended.
"No, it's not like that. Sam, please I'm already your sister. I can't accept the fact that they are fighting everyday," said Miral.
"No Miral, I understand perfectly. You are selfish, and you have never even spoke to me before. It was like I was your enemy. Why Miral? Why?" asked Sam.
"There was nothing I wanted to talk with you about. I thought you didn't like me,"
"You never asked,"
"Well neither did you,"
"Don't turn this on me"
"You liked me least,"
"I never said that"
"Well you body language did,"
"It's not my fault"
"You never sat beside me, you always talk to everyone, you never told me Megan's secret.....,"
"What secret?"
"You know what I'm talking about," said Miral. She heard yelling.
"What's that noise?"
"I think it's Star and Sun," said Miral. She ran to them, dragging Sam, and saw them fighting. She looked to Sam in an I-told-you-so way. Sam went and pulled Sun, Miral pulled Star.
"Let me go!" said Sun as she was trying to push Sam away.
"No," said Sam.
"Miral let me go," said Star.
"You mean the same way you said sorry to Sun, okay, done!" said Miral mocking.
"Why do you guys not like each other?" asked Sam.
"I'll tell you if you let me go," said Sun still fighting. Sun eventually became to hard for Sam and got away.
"Wow, you're tough," said Sam admiring her sister.
"Don't ever do that again!" said Sun.
"You're not the boss of me!" said Sam.
"Well, I can beat you up until you change your mind," said Sun.
"I'm so scared," said Sam mocking.
"Samantha, Samantha," said Sun.
"Sun, do you really want to go there?" asked Sam.
"Miral!" said Star.
"Yeah," said Miral.
"Let me go, you already let Sun go," said Star.
"Baby!" said Sun.
"I am not a baby!" shouted Star.
"Prove it, get out of Miral's grip without her letting go. I got away by myself from Sam and I'm younger than you, and Miral is younger than Sam," said Sun. Star pushed and pushed, but Miral was hard to get away from.
"I give up!" said Star.
"And thus proves you're a baby," said Sun. She sucked her thumb.
"Leave me alone!" said Star. She got free of Miral and her eyes looked as red and orange as fire. She was really mad. She ran up to Sun and hustled her. Sun fought back. Sam and Miral tried to help but Star was too strong. Moon and Duane came running.
"I can't believe you're twins," said Duane.
"Tell me about it," said Miral. Moon went up to Sun and picked her up.
"Moon!" said Sun.
"Sun, come with me," said Moon as he dragged Sun.
"Leave me alone!" said Sun.
"Sun, I love you, but I can't take this anymore," said Moon.
"Me too, but Star is annoying and she started it!" said Sun.
"Sun!" said Moon.
"No, I will not apologize!" said Sun.
"So, you're not going to listen to me?" asked Moon.
"Moon, please don't make me do this, this is like telling you to stop being smart,"
"I get you, but this wont ruin your tough image,"
"Yes it will!"

Quadrupole the trouble. Sam, Miral, Star and Sun are fighting. Why?

Chapter 9

"How much longer do we have to get there?" said Solar.
"Be patient, and I don't exactly see a house," said Sparkle.
"Oh, okay. I really like your name,"said Solar. Sparkle blushed.
"Thank you, my first name isn't Sparkle," said Sparkle.
"Really? What is it?" said Solar.
"It doesn't matter," said Sparkle.
"No, it does. My name's Solar, it isn't a nice name but I'm okay with it," said Solar.
"It's actually a really sweet name," said Sparkle.
"Thank you, now tell me your name," insisted Solar.
"No!" said Sparkle.
"Fine! Be that way, it's only a name," said Solar.
"It might sound stupid to you,  but it's important to me," said Sparkle.
"Which class do you teach?" asked Solar.
"I teach a lot of classes," said Sparkle.
"Do you like children?" asked Solar.
"Yes, do you?" asked Sparkle.
"Of course I do. How can I hate children when there is seven of them in my house?" said Solar.
"Can you tell me their names again?" asked Sparkle.
"Daniel, Samantha, Miral, Star, Moon, Sun, and Duane," recited Solar perfectly.
"I'm impressed, tell me more about Daniel," said Sparkle.
"Well, he is the oldest. We call him Danny. He is 15 years old. He is very active." said Solar.
"Ah, so he is in high school, which school did he go to before?" asked Sparkle. Solar remained silent for a moment.
"He didn't go to a school, I taught them at home," said Solar sadly.
"Well, we have a an open space for a teacher. How about your wife comes and work here since she has teaching experience? Or you could come, it'd be an honour to work with you," said Sparkle.
"Sure, so can my children come see the school?" said Solar.
"Anytime, so how's your wife doing with all these children while you're out?" asked Sparkle. Solar became uncomfortable. He turned his head to the window.
"I'd prefer not to talk about her," said Solar. Suddenly a memory returned to him. They were playing on the grass. Duane was only two. His wife was lying on the soft green grass. Duane was walking to a water fountain. He tripped and got hurt. Then they went to the hospital.
"Solar, Solar, Solar!" exclaimed Sparkle. The memory was gone.
"Yes," said Solar.
"Did you hear what I just said?"
"No"
"Well then,"
"Sorry. Do you have children of your own?"
"Yes"
"What's their names?"
"I have one daughter named Light. She has siblings but they live with their father"
"I like her name"
"Thank you"
"Maybe she could meet my children, how old is she?"
"12 years old"
"Like Star"
"Yeah"
"Where is your husband now?"
"He didn't tell me where he went" Sparkle started crying.
"I'm sorry for asking you"
"It's okay. I think it's fine"
"No it isn't. I just got curious"
"I know he'll come back one day with my children"
"Yeah, maybe"
"Maybe your wife and my children are in a better place,"
"Do you feel depressed?"
"No"
"Don't feel bad, I know your position"
"I appreciate it"

Chapter 8

"I can't take it anymore!" shouted Harry while pulling his hair. Sam looked concerned.
"Um, Mr. Mach sir, are you ok?" said Sam scared.
"Okay? Okay? I feel like I'm going crazy," said Harry.
"You can go home to get some rest," said Sun. Harry put his hands on his face.
"It's okay, I'm sorry. So what do you guys do for entertainment?" said Harry. All but Harry laid low.
"I'm sorry," said Harry.
"Nothing much," said Danny as he shrugged.
"Don't you have anything electronic?" said Harry. Sun got a bit angry, then she cracked.
"No, we don't. If you want things like that go back to your fun-filled house and leave us alone. Just because we don't have money, doesn't mean you are better than us!" shouted Sun at Harry. She went inside, Miral followed her. Harry looked shocked.
"I'm sorry for her behavior, she is usually well behaved but I don't know what happened," said Danny trying to make Harry feel better.
"It's my fault, I shouldn't have asked you about your personal lives," said Harry.
"No, no she was just in a bad mood," said Sam.
"Sun, what happened?" asked Miral concerned.
"Leave me alone Miral," said Sun.
"It's okay, I'm your sister," said Miral.
"Well do me a favor and leave me alone sister," said Sun. Miral sighed.
"Sun please. You know he was just...."said Miral. Sun interrupted her.
"He was just what? Just what Miral?" asked Sun as she faced Miral. Miral looked down.
"He was just homesick and missed his family," said Miral sadly. Sun looked at Miral. She went to comfort her. Miral started crying.
"It's okay Miral. We will find her soon," said Sun encouragingly. Star came in and saw Miral crying.
"What's the matter?" said Star. Sun stood up and groan loudly.
"You just have to ruin everything, don't you?" said Sun to Star.
"I just asked..," said Star. Sun interrupted her.
"Well, I don't care. I bet our family could be in a house like Harry's if it weren't for you...," said Sun. Star build up the courage to talk back to her.
"Oh, so I ruined this family right? What about you? You are nothing like Moon. At least he doesn't shout at guests that our dad told to stay with us. You're never gonna reach the expectations of anyone," said Star.
"Stop this right now you two! If we started fighting, then how will we fight through this stage? All you care about is yourselves. And I thought I was the bad one," said Miral. Sun looked at Star as if she just blew up the earth. Sun put her arm around Miral's shoulders.
"If I can't reach the expectations of anyone, you can't either," said Sun.
"Sun! Apologize to Star," said Miral.
"Apologize to this slug, no thanks," said Sun. She pointed her finger up and down Star.
"Star, apologize to Sun then," said Miral.
"Miral please, I just-just-just can't," said Star. Miral looked hurt.
"I would expect this from Sun yes, but from you, Star? I thought I'd never see the day that my own sisters wouldn't even say one word. I just can't do this anymore. I'm giving you one last chance, take it or leave it," said Miral.
"Hey!" said Sun. Star and Sun looked at each other. Star looked at Miral. Sun inhaled.
"I'm s-s-sorry. Sorry that I'm in the same house as you," said Sun. Star started crying. She went to Miral for comfort, but Miral pushed her and walked towards the door. Star hit her head. Miral shook her head. She went outside.
"Miral what happened?" asked Sam.
"Nothing happened, Sam can you come and talk to me for a second?" asked Miral. Sam went with Miral.
"So what's up?" asked Sam.
"I love you," said Miral as she went to hug her. She started crying.
"What's the matter?" asked Sam.
"Sun, and even Star, don't listen to me. So I decided to be your friend so they can realize how important they are to each other," said Miral.
"What?" asked Sam.

Chapter 7

It was getting late.
"What should I do?" asked Solar to himself. He looked to see if anyone was looking at him. No one was there. He was starting to get cold. He spotted a school.
"One day, one day," thought Solar. He stood up and started walking towards the school. When he was almost there, a teacher came out. She scanned him.
"How may I help you?" asked the teacher in a sweet voice. Solar was speechless. After 15 seconds he opened his mouth.
"I I I was j-just wondering i-if you could tell me about y-your school," said Solar nervously.
"Sure....," said the teacher confused. She opened the door and went inside with him. They went to her office.
"I'll have to squeeze you into my busy schedule," said the teacher. She started taking out papers. She took a pencil and an eraser and started writing furiously. Solar got kinda more nervous. After furious writing and erasing the teacher looked at Solar.
"Done," said the teacher sweetly. The teacher started talking about the school and it's achievements.
"How much money do I need?" asked Solar.
"Oh I dunno, that's the principle's job, but don't worry it's affordable," said the teacher. The teacher stood up and walked outside.
"Coming?" asked the teacher. Solar nodded his head and walked with her. They entered the principle's office.
"Hello, Mrs. Dania, can you spare a minute?" asked the teacher sweetly.
"Hello, Ms. Sparkle, what do you need?" asked Mrs. Dania.
"Well, as you see I have a guest. He wants to know about the money he has to pay for school," said Ms. Sparkle. Mrs. Dania looked at him, she made a sad face.
"I will not accept money, you must enter whoever for free," said Mrs. Dania. Ms. Sparkle gasped. Solar didn't know if it was a gift or an insult. So he went with the gift.
"Thank you very much," said Solar with a smile. "May I go to wash my hands please?"
"Of course," said Mrs. Dania. She gave him directions. Ms. Sparkle looked at Mrs. Dania as if to say "You never gave anyone a place for free, and a man just comes and you accept?" Mrs. Dania nodded. Solar came back.
"So, how many do you have?" asked Mrs. Dania. She took a sip out of her water. Solar gulped.
"S-seven," said Solar. Mrs. Dania started coughing. Ms. Sparkle gave her a pat on the back.
"Seven?????" asked Mrs. Dania with a surprised face.
"Yes, three boys and four girls, two of them are twins," said Solar.
"I'm impressed, you and your wife must have a lot of work. I will give you forms to fill out. Return them as soon as possible, before the school year starts," said Mrs. Dania. She handed him a folder.
"I will, but..... I don't remember the way to my house," said Solar embarrassed.
"It's okay, here is my phone, it has a map of everywhere nearby. If you see your house tell me and I will drive you there," said Ms. Sparkle as she handed him the phone.
"How do you move?" asked Solar.
"Push the arrows, or slide your finger," said Ms. Sparkle. Solar started looking, after 15 minutes he found it!
"Here it is, thank you so much," said Solar exhilarated. He handed the phone to Ms. Sparkle. She looked at it.
"I don't see a house," said Ms. Sparkle.
"It isn't exactly a house," said Solar. Ms. Sparkle shrugged, she and Solar headed to her car. They were on their way.
"You need to make them take a hygiene test before they go to school," said Ms. Sparkle. Solar nodded.


Yay! Solar is going back home. Harry will be able to go home without Mona and Megan. And Solar's kids are going to school, or are they?

Chapter 6

"Who asked you, miss missy face?" said Megan.
"Pfft," said Duane trying to hold a burst of laughter.
"Miss missy face? Really?" said the woman.
"Get away from me," said Megan. Duane and the woman looked at each other.
"I will not take orders from a spoiled child that is yelling at my friend," said Duane. Megan picked up a rock.
"I got a dirty weapon and I am not afraid to use it," said Megan.
"Well now that you put it that way, do you know how many bugs that rocks had touched?" asked the woman. Megan screamed and dropped the rock in disgust. Harry came running.
"What's the matter Meggy?" exclaimed Harry. Megan started crying.
"Daddy, I was sitting here thinking about what I did when, this woman and Duane came and starting teasing me," said Megan while crying. Harry looked at the woman and Duane.
"Is that true?" said Harry in a calm voice. The woman and Duane started shaking their heads.
"No, we just asked her why she was crying and she starting shouting at us," said Duane while making awkward positions. Danny heard Duane's voice and came running.
"Duane!" exclaimed Danny. He came up to him and picked him up. Then he hugged him. (one of those slow motion things)
"Where were you?" said Danny.
"I was in this place full of wonders, and creepy people looking at me," said Duane. Danny's eyes were full of tears, but he wiped them away quickly so nobody could see him cry.
"Don't ever run away again, okay?" said Danny while smiling.
"Okay big D," said Duane. Danny let go of him after a moment of silence and put him down gently. Danny sighed.
"Oh, um hello miss. Can I um help you?" said Danny nervously.
"No, you must be Danny. Duane has told me all about you," said the woman.
"Oh, has he?" said Danny as he messed up Duane's hair, "So little D was with you all along?"
"Yep, and he is the sweetest thing I have ever met," said the woman. Duane blushed.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to put you through all this trouble," said Danny.
"Nope, not at all, in fact Duane reminds me of my little daughter," said the woman.
"Oh really, what's her name?" asked Danny.
"Her name is Light," said the woman.
"She must be sweet," said Danny.
"Megan and her could be friends," added Harry. The woman smiled awkwardly which was enough to send the message to Harry.
"I wouldn't want to be friends with her anyway," said Megan in her attitude. The woman gave her a nasty look.
"So...," said Harry. He smacked his lips.
"So..," replied Danny.
"I think me and Megan should get going now," said Harry.
"Where's dad?" asked Duane looking around.
"He ran to look for you," said Danny almost angry. Duane felt bad, but didn't want to cause anymore trouble.
"I want to go home now!" shouted Megan.
"Are you staying?" asked Harry looking at the woman.
"I dunno, I think I will go and come back another day. My daughter is home alone," said the woman.
"Can you tell us your name?" asked Danny shyly.
"My name is um uh gotta go peace," said the woman as she rushed to the street.
"That was weird," said Megan.
"So I guess we are staying here until your dad comes back," said Harry. After a while a limo parked in front of Solar's house.
"Uh-oh," said Harry.
"Mommy!" shouted Megan.
"Meggy bear," said Mona as she evacuated the limo.
"Go inside the car," said Mona. Harry gulped.
"Why weren't you home sweety?" said Mona in a sweet voice.
"I was babysitting these children until their dad was back," said Harry nervously.
"Babysitting, now isn't that sweet of you. Now let's go home to eat dinner," said Mona.
"But their dad isn't home," said Harry.
"Aw, you poor things," said Mona.
"Hey, don't play nice on us Mona, you kidnapped Star and I," said Miral coming out to see what's up.
"What are you talking about honey-bunch? I love children," said Mona.
"Quit your acting Mona," said Harry.
"Huh," said Mona confused.
"I know you kidnapped Star and her sister, how do you think they got away?" said Harry.
"You'd believe nasty children you met today, over me. Your wife that has been with you for all these years," said Mona losing her sweet tone.
"Yes, yes I would. They are more genuine to me than you in a thousand years!" claimed Harry.
"I am going home with Meggy and you are not welcome back there ever again," said Mona
"But you are forgetting one detail," said Harry.
"What's that? Is it that you want me back?" said Mona.
"No, it's that it's my house with my money so YOU are prohibited from entering it ever again," said Harry.
"Fine, I don't need your money or your house Harry Mach from this day forward I am not your wife!" shouted Mona as she took of her wedding ring. She was about to throw it, but she realized that she would be dumb to throw away a diamond ring.
Solar was coming back home, when he forgot the way since he was in a rush.
"I have natural instincts, they will tell me where to go," thought Solar. He gulped as he walked through people. Two strong men stood in front of him.
"Will ya look at that, Benjy?" said one of them.
"Uh-huh an old man walking on our street," said Benjy.
"What should we do with him?" said one of them. While they were talking they looked at each other, Solar took the chance to run away.
"Where'd he go?" asked Benjy.
"Oh well, he missed his chance to get this extra money," said the other while bouncing a bag full of money. Solar was panting, he sat against the corner of a garbage can where no one would see him.
"I guess, I'm staying here for a while," said Solar.

Stuck to a garbage can alone, while his children are playing. Harry getting an awkward feeling about staying longer in Solar's house?

Chapter 5

Harry came back with Megan. When they saw her they groaned loudly. Megan looked at them sarcastically.
"Why am I here?" asked Megan.
"Because I want to do something nice for a friend," said Harry. He sat down and looked at Danny.
"Can you tell me what you do all day?" asked Harry.
"Well, we go to work....." said Danny. Harry interrupted him.
"What do you mean 'go to work'," asked Harry.
"Um, yes because we don't have enough money to go to school," said Danny.
"Ah I see," said Harry while rubbing his chin.
"Then we come back and talk or play something," said Danny.
"Not that busy of a day, is it?" said Harry.
"Dad, why do you care about their dumb lives?" asked Megan while tugging his shirt.
"Megan, that is very rude. Apologize immediately!" shouted Harry.
"I'm sorry, happy?" said Megan angrily.
"No, now go and think about what you did before you come back," said Harry.
"But, daddy. At least can you give me money to buy something?" said Megan.
"Megan," said Harry.
"Fine! I don't need someone to tell me what to do," said Megan. Behind them the kids were bursting in laughter but very subtle. Megan went to the corner of a house and started dialing numbers in her phone.
"Give me your phone Megan," said Harry. Megan groaned and gave it to him. Then she took out her laptop and opened it.
"Give me your laptop too," said Harry. Megan gave him her laptop.
"Now what am I supposed to do," said Megan faintly.
"Go think about what you did," said Harry. This time Megan when to a place where her dad can't see her. She took out her iPhone and sent a text to her friend Emma. After a while Emma send a text back. Megan chuckled.
"Megan, what are you doing?" asked Danny sarcastically. Megan thought it was her dad.
"Thinking about what I did daddy," said Megan in a sweet voice. Everyone giggled.
"Ahh, Megan," sighed Harry.
"It's okay, all girls with money are like that," said Samantha.
"Huh?" asked Harry.
"I mean that all girls like Megan think they are above people because they're rich," said Samantha. Danny nudged her.
"Oh, I understand," said Harry, "My Megan has bad behavior because of the money she wastes." Megan was listening to them and came in barging.
"Daddy please don't take away my money please, I'll do anything!" said Megan.
Meanwhile Solar was out searching for Duane.
"Duane," cried Solar, "Duane!" he said awaiting for a response. People coming and going would look at him and toss him some pennies. He was both mad and happy. He struggled as he walked through all the people staring at him.
Duane was in the car with the woman searching for his house.
"Miss, you still haven't told me your name," said Duane.
"Oh, I haven't. Well my name isn't important, but you can call me Space-lover," said the woman.
"Is that a code name?" asked Duane. The woman giggled.
"No, it's because I love space, the stars, the moon, everything about space pleases me," said Space-lover.
"My family does too," muttered Duane.
"Oh, keep looking Duane," said the woman.
"Okay," said Duane. Duane saw the place he was before the woman took him.
"That's where you met me!" shouted Duane. She pulled her car over.
"Do you remember your house from here?" asked the woman.
"Sorta," said Duane.
"I can't drive through there, and I can't leave my car here,"  said the woman
"I can go home from here by myself," said Duane. Just before the woman wanted to reply she heard a voice.
"Space-lover can you lend me a ride," said the voice from far away. A woman came running.
"Oh, hi Peach, you can use my car but I'll call you when I need it," said the woman
"Okay, thanks," said Peach. She drove away.
"That takes care of my car," said the woman.
"Let's go," said Duane. They walked and got lost. Then they found the way back to Duane's house.
"Here's my house!" shouted Duane. He saw Megan crying in the corner. He went up to her.
"What's the matter?" said Duane in a sweet voice. Megan looked up and saw Duane. She looked down again.
"Why should I tell you?" asked Megan.
"He was trying to make you feel better," said the woman.

Chapter 4

"Where is Duane, Danny?" asked Solar with a feared face without looking at Danny. Danny gulped.
Danny finally said, "He ran away." Solar took a big breath in.
"And you let him," said Solar furiously. He clenched his fist.
"Of course I ran behind as fast as I could, but he hid somewhere. He's so little......," said Danny with a glum face. Solar interrupted him.
"So you came back and left him in that big town?" asked Solar losing his calmness. Solar looked at Danny. Danny stayed silent. Everyone looked down.
"He is very small, so he must have got hungry and stopped. If we spread out we can cover more space," said Harry encouragingly.
"I'm sorry but I can't afford to lose anymore of my children," said Solar sadly.
"How about you stay and I go to find what's his name?" offered Harry.
"I couldn't possibly cause you much trouble. Duane is my child and you shouldn't take part in this because you have given me enough," said Solar politely. 
"It's the least I could do after finding your children in my house, please my good friend Solar I can't possibly take the guilt out of myself," said Harry.
"OK, Harry you may help, but there is one problem," said Solar.
"And what is that?" asked Harry thoughtfully.
"We can't leave them alone again," said Solar.
"But dad this is Duane we're talking about," said Danny.
"Harry, can you stay here with my children?" asked Solar. Harry awkwardly smiled.
"OK, but I have to bring Megan here because today it's my turn in something," said Harry. Everybody shook their head.
"Sure you can," said Solar nervously. The kids all groaned. Harry went into his car and drove.
Meanwhile Duane was in paradise. He finally woke up. He saw the woman looking at him. He pushed himself to the end of the bed.
"Is there something wrong?" asked the woman with a sad face. Duane remained silent and stared at her. The woman went out and came back with a bowl of cereal. She handed it to him. Duane was so hungry he couldn't say no. He took it and started eating. The woman smiled.
"You know you don't have to be afraid," said the woman. Duane finished the bowl of cereal and wiped his mouth. He put it down on the table next to him. He smiled.
"Thank you," said Duane.
"You are most welcome, now lets go," said the woman. They went to the bathroom. The woman brushed his teeth and made him take a shower. Duane has never felt so clean. She gave him some new clothes. Duane was so happy.
"So do you have a family?" asked the woman shyly.
"Yes, but I ran away," answered Duane.
"Why?" asked the woman.
"It's a long story, so can you tell me your name?" said Duane.
"Not after you," said the woman.
"Oh, my name is Duane," said Duane.
"Don't you have a nickname?" asked the woman.
"Sometimes my brother calls me little D because his name start with a D. My sisters and other brother call me sky. I have no idea why," said Duane.
"How many sisters do you have?" asked the woman.
"Four," replied Duane.
"You are one big family, so what are their names?" asked the woman.
"My father's name is Solar. I don't know what my mom's name is because I never ask. My big brother's name is Danny, he is 15 years old. My sisters name's are Samantha, she is 14 years old; Miral, she is 13; and Star is 12 years old. Then we have twins, Moon and Sun, they are 10 years old. Then there is me and I am 9 years old," said Duane.
"Oh nice, so do you know where you live because your family must be very worried about you," said the woman. Duane frowned.
"No, I don't. I do know that we live next to a place where people would never come," said Duane.
"Hmm, how about I drive and if you see your house tell me, OK," said the woman.
"OK,"  said Duane.




Will Duane find his home? Will Megan be too much? Will Solar go out for nothing?

Mona

The worst character in the show. Ladies and gentlemen Mona.
Mona: "I heard that!"
Ahem, so anyway she has one daughter as you know. She loves money more than anything in the world. She is also very cheap. Opposite of Harry completely. She has short brown hair, dark green eyes, a big nose, very short, a bit tubby. She is known for taking advantage of the weak. She hates Harry, but she married him because of his money. She wears a big red dress. She thinks of Megan as a mini version of her. She doesn't have any friends, the reason is clear. She has two sisters and a brother. They live in another country with their mom and dad. When Mona was a kid she was very cute, but she changed.
Now here's our interview:
I: Hello Mona
M: Hello
I: So Mona tell us about yourself.
M: I m a rich woman with a lovely daughter and a husband.
I: So, if you found a poor person begging, would you give them money.
M: Is this a mockery? I would never give them a penny
I: Oh I see. Have you ever put yourself in their shoes?
M: OK, that's it!
(runs after interviewer)

Chapter 3

Duane kept on running till he couldn't anymore. He stopped at town, but he doesn't know it was the town because he never heard of it.
He questioned, "Where am I?" People looked at him poorly, because of his clothes. Then a woman came a picked him up and went to her car. Duane still hasn't recovered from the shock. The woman looked at him thoughtfully. She drove to her house. Then she picked up him up and put him inside. She wrapped a blanket around him. She put her hand on his forehead. It was cold. She thought that he might be sick. Then she put him on a very comfy bed and went to sleep.
Finally Solar arrived at Mona's house. He knocked the door. Harry came and opened the door. He looked confused.
"Hi, my name is Solar," said Solar politely.
"Hello, nice to meet you Solar, I'm Harry," said Harry. He told him to come in. So they went inside. Mona gasped when she saw Solar talking to Harry. Harry heard her.
"Why are you standing there? Come meet this nice man," said Harry. Mona looked at Solar angrily when Harry turned back to Solar. Mona came in and headed to Solar, he stood up and handed out his hand. Mona looked disgusted.
She suddenly said, "I need to go, bye stranger I never met before."

Solar smiled and said, "Nice meeting you too." Mona went outside to buy some groceries, she called Megan to come too.
Solar said, "May you show me around your house please?"
"I'm not sure. Well, because you don't go into people's houses and expect them to show you around. But I think I can trust you," said Harry with a smile. They went around and then they finally went to the basement. Harry opened the door. They went inside.
Danny sat outside all alone, thinking. Sam saw him and sighed. She went outside.
"What are you doing? Come inside," said Sam.
"Go back inside!" exclaimed Danny. She sat beside him and pushed her hair out of her eyes. She looked at the ground and picked up a stick. She shook her head.
"Danny, what are you doing?" she said in a soft voice. Danny sighed then pushed her.
Sam stood up shouted, "What was that for?"
"For not going inside." said Danny. Sam put her hand on her hip.
"You see Danny, this is why. You never treat us like people. I am your sister. I can help you," said Sam. Danny stood up and looked at her. He went inside. Sam sighed and shook her head.
"Now I don't want anyone of you putting their foot near outside," said Danny.
"Why?" questioned Sun.
Danny said, "Why? Why? Do you think this is a joke? That we are playing games?"
"I said why?" said Sun angry.
Solar and Harry opened the door and saw big lumps wrapped in a blanket. Harry wanted what was in them. So he unwrapped them and saw Miral and Star. He was shocked.
"My girls!" shouted Solar. Harry looked at him in shock. Solar nudged them. They woke up.
"Dad, you came!" exclaimed Miral. Solar was so happy.
"I-I-I'm so sorry, I didn't know anything about this," stammered Harry nervously.
"I know," said Solar. Harry put his hand on his forehead.
"Can't we go home now?" asked Miral.
Harry said, "If you knew all along why didn't you say anything?
"Somethings don't need to be mentioned in this world, goodbye now," said Solar.
Harry said, "Come back soon." He walked them to the door. They walked out.
"Stop, I thought you had a car. No, no, no this won't do, you must be driven by me," offered Harry.
Solar said, "No it's fine we can walk."
"Tisk, tisk, tisk. Now come in the car, it's the least I could do," said Harry. Then he pushed them in, but not too hard. Solar wanted to say that's it's fine but Harry wouldn't let him. They drove home. Solar showed the way. When they arrived Harry looked at their house disgusted.
"Not to be rude but, is this your house?" asked Harry.
Solar said, "Um, yes. We are planning on buying things soon."
"Six kids, is the charm," said Harry.
"Actually we are seven, unless you count Moon and Sun as one," said Star.
"Pardon me, but I only see six counting individually," said Harry.
"Where's Duane?" asked Solar without counting. Moon, Sun and Sam looked at Danny. Danny scratched his head.


Solar knows Duane's gone. Just when he thinks it's all over. What's up with all his children missing?

Harry's character

Harry is Mona's husband, and Megan's father. He really isn't involved in the story. But has major parts when he is in a scene. He has no idea that Mona tortures any kids. Harry is really nice just like Solar. Megan acts around him really nicely, because she wants him to buy her everything she wants. Harry doesn't like mean or cruel people. So if he figures out what his wife and daughter are up to then........
Harry can get really mad and could do anything in his possibilities, so don't make him mad. He always says that his daughter is very weird. Mona doesn't like Harry's nice personality, but she hates his bad side even more. Harry loves the word Happiness. So he uses it a lot.
His favorite color is green.

Megan's character

I recently posted characters, but I haven't gave enough info about them. So I decided to tell you them one on one. Starting with the meanest child.

Megan Mach
Megan as you know is Mona's and Harry's daughter. She knows about her mom torturing the Galaxy kids (That's their last name). So she decided to join her. What fun torturing people. that's what she thinks since she isn't the one tortured. She is 11 years old. She has a very cool, awesome room. It has a wide flat screen T.V attached to her wall, a computer, a laptop, a big stereo, a fluffy, soft, comfy bed, 10 personal servants, a game room... etc.

What else would an 11 year old want?

She is afraid that her mom could have another baby and forget about her and not spoil her. Also being poor.
Megan has a very big secret that only Sam and best friend know, Sam won't tell it to anyone because she's afraid of that thing in the secret herself. Megan knows about Sam knowing the secret but tries to stay away from her. The Galaxy kids call her Meany and have a catch phrase. Duane says that her real name is mean with a g in the middle representing good at being mean.

She has one similar friend. They are so close Megan told her secret. Her name is Emma. She's rich too of course, or is she?

Chapter 2

Star and Miral woke up and saw themselves in a cage in a dark room. They heard footsteps approaching and people taking. Mona and Megan came in.
Mona said, "Good morning. How are you? Hungry? Comfy?"
Megan continued, "Pathetic?"
Miral shouted, "Let us out of here now!"
Mona said, "Temper, temper child. I bet this is better than living in a dump" Miral looked angrily at her with her shiny blue eyes.
Star said, "Please let us out we can't stay here."
Megan said, "Aw look who decided too speak up." Miral looked at Megan.
Miral yelled, "Nobody asked you!"
Mona said, "You shall talk to my daughter in a respectful tone young lady."
Miral said, "Yeah right." Star started kicking the bars of the cage.
Megan said, "Kick as you wish but you will hurt yourself only."
"The only thing that hurts is our ears from you blabbing!" shouted Miral.
Meanwhile at home things weren't so juicy either.
Solar said, "Oh, no this isn't happening Danny go find your sisters."

"I'm on it dad," said Danny as he headed to the door.
"I knew this was a bad idea," thought Solar.
"Dad, maybe they went to Mona's house, unwillingly of course!" shouted Moon. Solar stood up and looked at Moon. He wore an old sweatshirt he had and headed to the door.
"Wait dad," shouted Duane "We can't stay alone, what if Mona didn't take them and then she came to do something to us?" Samantha looked sarcastically at Duane.
"Danny will come back in a few minutes, until then you should stay here with Samantha in charge. Listen to her and I'll be back after a while. Okay?" said Solar. Sam laughed nervously. Moon lied down to the cold surface looking down.
Sam said, "We'll be fine dad you go fine our sisters." Solar smiled.
"I knew I could count on you," said Solar. He kissed Sam on her head and went out.
After a while Danny came, he asked, "Did you find them yet?" The four of them looked at him.
"Since when do you care about us?" questioned Duane.
"What does that mean?" asked Danny.
Sam said, "Nothing, just nothing." Then she looked down to the floor. Danny shook his head with a pathetic look on his face.
"Where's dad?" asked Danny.
Moon said, "He went to Mona's house to find them."
"It's getting late get some sleep," said Danny.
Duane yelled, "I don't wanna go to sleep, I'm waiting for dad."
Danny sighed and shouted, "Go to sleep Duane!"
"I don't want to!" exclaimed Duane.
"Just go to sleep Duane," said Sam. Duane stood up and looked at Danny and Sam. He looked at them pathetically.
Duane said, "You don't even care about dad, or Miral." he looked at Sun and continued, "Or Star, you only care about yourselves," he shouted, "You're selfish these are your sisters and your dad, and you don't seem to care a single bit...."
Danny interrupted, "Do you think we can do something and we don't want to, this isn't about us, it isn't about anyone, it's about Miral and Star and dad coming back safely. If you stay up will that help them come back? Is that what you think?"
Duane said, "Just forget it. I don't wanna talk now." He wore Danny's old jacket and went out.
Danny followed him and yelled, "Duane, come here right now!" Duane looked at him then he turned his back. Danny followed him, but Duane was already gone.
"What have I done?" whispered Danny. He fell on his knees and hands and looked down.



Oh no, double trouble. Duane, Star, Miral and Solar all gone. Will they be able to find them? Is Duane coming back. Who knows?
