Chapter 12

"Okay, I wont tell anyone," said Duane genuinely.
"Me and your dad were talking about you guys going to school," said Sparkle. Duane gasped.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you," said Duane excited.
"Duane, the first days of school aren't that easy. You have to make a good first impression. You need to be who you are. You need to do a lot of stuff," said Sparkle.
"Don't worry, Sam will help me," said Duane.
"Um, Duane. In school you are put in classes depending on your age. So unfortunately, she wont be with you. Only Moon and Sun will be with each other," said Sparkle. Duane frowned. "Why them? I want someone to be with me so I don't be alone," said Duane.
"You can make new friends,"
"No, I want my family, in fact if no one is going to be with me I don't want to go to school,"
"Duane, please. Do you know how much your dad went through to make a place for you in school?"
"I don't care,"
"That isn't nice. All you wanted is to go to school. Here is your chance and you refuse it for such an unreasonable fact,"
"You don't understand,"
"Duane, you will go to school whether you like it or not. Your dad went through a lot. You should be thankful. I can't believe a boy like you. I would be so happy if I had such a dad. But a boy like you wouldn't understand!,"
"You aren't my mother!" shouted Duane as he walked to his dad.
"Such an ungrateful boy," thought Sparkle. She went to her car. Solar stopped her.
"Wait, I couldn't thank you enough..................," said Solar. As he was talking Sparkle was looking at Duane muttering to himself. ".............And I wish you a happy life. Please come visit again. Maybe we could talk about that job. Sorry if I was boring you, I know you have a busy schedule,"
"Not at all, I am always happy to help. Okay, I have got to go, bye," said Sparkle. She drove away. Solar looked at his kids.
"Duane, where did you go? I am furious at you. And Danny, I hope you didn't do anything to Harry, while I was gone. Samantha, did any of you fight? Sun, what did you do while I was gone?" said Solar quickly.
"Well.........," said Danny.
"I am sorry daddy. I went to find you but I couldn't," said Duane innocently.
"What did you do Danny?" asked Solar angry.
"Take it away Sun," said Danny. Sun shot a look at Danny.
"I kinda yelled at him," said Sun nervously.
"Sun, what did I tell you about behaving if I am gone?" asked Solar.
"Don't tell lies, be kind, and always say please and thank you," recited Sun.
"Yes, and which rule did you break?" asked Solar.
"Be kind," said Sun. Star giggled really quietly. Sun heard her.
"Yes, and what should you say if you meet Harry again?" asked Solar.
"I'm sorry, dad can me and Star do some sister bonding inside?" asked Sun.
"I never said yes!" said Star.
"Star go do some sister bonding with Sun, but after........," said Solar.
"After what?" asked Miral.
"After I tell you good and bad news," said Solar.
"Bad news first," said Sam.
"The bad news is that we have to work harder and get more money to buy clothes and other stuff," said Solar.
"The good news?" asked Moon.
"You guys are going to school!" shouted Solar. They all cheered except Duane.
"What's the matter Little D?" asked Danny.
"Nothing, just leave me alone. And don't call me Little D anymore. My name is Duane," said Duane. He crossed his arms.
"You love the name Little D. What happened?" asked Danny.
"I am just really depressed," said Duane.
"Kids, I have worse news," said Solar.

Chapter 11

Solar looked up at the sky and clouds. He thought of how he would make his kids happy if he could get the money to buy a real house.
"I am such a lousy father," said Solar sadly.
"What?" asked Sparkle.
"Was I talking aloud? Sorry," said Solar embarrassed.
"I don't see why you apologized,"
"No particular reason,"
"So tell me about your second biggest child,"
"Samantha?"
"Yes,"
"She is really a good girl,"
"And?"
"What else do you want to know about her?"
"What's her age?"
"14,"
"Where have I heard these names before?"
"In school....,"
"No, before that!"
"I wasn't with you to know,"
"I never said you were,"
"I never said you did say that,"
"Do we need to fight?"
"No,"
"I just remembered something, you asked about Mona right?"
"Yeah, but it's not important,"
"Well I saw Megan a few days ago, and I think I saw Harry too,"
"Where?"
"In this place that looked like people were living, but it wasn't a house. It was, ack, I can't remember,"
"Wait was it a very empty space, with lots of kids?"
"Yes, you know that place?"
"Yeah!"
"What is it?"
"It's my home!"
"Come again,"
"Take me there!"
"We are getting there!"
"Are we almost there?"
"Yes, just be patient! You should drive and see how fast I can get there,"
"But I lost my license, along with my memories,"
"I am so sorry,"

"Thank you, hey! We are here!" said Sparkle as she pulled over her car. Solar smiled. They got off the car.
"Solar!" shouted Harry. He stood up and ran towards him. His eyes opened wide.
"Harry, I am so sorry. I got stuck and I couldn't find the way. I am just so.....," said Solar.
"It's okay. Now I can go home and rest, bye Solar," said Harry. He ran to his car and went off very fast.
"Danny, Sam, Miral, Star, Moon, Sun, and Duane; I am home!" exclaimed Solar. Danny came and saw his dad. He was so happy.
"Dad! You're home, I missed you so much. I mean dad you're back," said Danny.
"Yes, I am," said Solar.
"Um dad, woman... girl..... behind you, with car," said Danny stammering.
"Oh, hello Daniel. I am just a friend of your dad," said Sparkle.
"Call me Danny, please. You and my dad are friends?" asked Danny suspiciously. Solar and Sparkle looked at each other confused.
"Um, yes. We are close friends," said Sparkle.
"Dad how come........," said Danny. Miral interrupted Danny, when she, Star, Sam, and Duane came running.
"Dad!" shouted Miral. They hugged him.
"Hello, Miral, Samantha, Star, and Duane," said Solar.
"Duane?" said Sparkle. Her eyes opened wide.
"Hey, you are..........," said Duane. Sparkle held his mouth and took him by the hand.
"Just a sec," said Sparkle. She went behind the ruined house.
"Hey!" said Duane after Sparkle let him go.
"Do you remember me Duane?" asked Sparkle.
"Yes," said Duane. He hugged her.
"I missed you," said Sparkle.
"Me too, but why did you run off that day?" said Duane.
"Sorry, I had to go, but more importantly don't tell anyone I know you" said Sparkle.
"Why?" asked Duane.
"I don't want anyone to know, because of personal reasons," said Sparkle.
"Are you a spy undercover?" asked Duane fascinated. Sparkle laughed.
"No, just listen," said Sparkle.



This woman must be a spy! Haha!

Chapter 10

"Wait, so we weren't friends and you are just using me?" asked Sam offended.
"No, it's not like that. Sam, please I'm already your sister. I can't accept the fact that they are fighting everyday," said Miral.
"No Miral, I understand perfectly. You are selfish, and you have never even spoke to me before. It was like I was your enemy. Why Miral? Why?" asked Sam.
"There was nothing I wanted to talk with you about. I thought you didn't like me,"
"You never asked,"
"Well neither did you,"
"Don't turn this on me"
"You liked me least,"
"I never said that"
"Well you body language did,"
"It's not my fault"
"You never sat beside me, you always talk to everyone, you never told me Megan's secret.....,"
"What secret?"
"You know what I'm talking about," said Miral. She heard yelling.
"What's that noise?"
"I think it's Star and Sun," said Miral. She ran to them, dragging Sam, and saw them fighting. She looked to Sam in an I-told-you-so way. Sam went and pulled Sun, Miral pulled Star.
"Let me go!" said Sun as she was trying to push Sam away.
"No," said Sam.
"Miral let me go," said Star.
"You mean the same way you said sorry to Sun, okay, done!" said Miral mocking.
"Why do you guys not like each other?" asked Sam.
"I'll tell you if you let me go," said Sun still fighting. Sun eventually became to hard for Sam and got away.
"Wow, you're tough," said Sam admiring her sister.
"Don't ever do that again!" said Sun.
"You're not the boss of me!" said Sam.
"Well, I can beat you up until you change your mind," said Sun.
"I'm so scared," said Sam mocking.
"Samantha, Samantha," said Sun.
"Sun, do you really want to go there?" asked Sam.
"Miral!" said Star.
"Yeah," said Miral.
"Let me go, you already let Sun go," said Star.
"Baby!" said Sun.
"I am not a baby!" shouted Star.
"Prove it, get out of Miral's grip without her letting go. I got away by myself from Sam and I'm younger than you, and Miral is younger than Sam," said Sun. Star pushed and pushed, but Miral was hard to get away from.
"I give up!" said Star.
"And thus proves you're a baby," said Sun. She sucked her thumb.
"Leave me alone!" said Star. She got free of Miral and her eyes looked as red and orange as fire. She was really mad. She ran up to Sun and hustled her. Sun fought back. Sam and Miral tried to help but Star was too strong. Moon and Duane came running.
"I can't believe you're twins," said Duane.
"Tell me about it," said Miral. Moon went up to Sun and picked her up.
"Moon!" said Sun.
"Sun, come with me," said Moon as he dragged Sun.
"Leave me alone!" said Sun.
"Sun, I love you, but I can't take this anymore," said Moon.
"Me too, but Star is annoying and she started it!" said Sun.
"Sun!" said Moon.
"No, I will not apologize!" said Sun.
"So, you're not going to listen to me?" asked Moon.
"Moon, please don't make me do this, this is like telling you to stop being smart,"
"I get you, but this wont ruin your tough image,"
"Yes it will!"

Quadrupole the trouble. Sam, Miral, Star and Sun are fighting. Why?

Chapter 9

"How much longer do we have to get there?" said Solar.
"Be patient, and I don't exactly see a house," said Sparkle.
"Oh, okay. I really like your name,"said Solar. Sparkle blushed.
"Thank you, my first name isn't Sparkle," said Sparkle.
"Really? What is it?" said Solar.
"It doesn't matter," said Sparkle.
"No, it does. My name's Solar, it isn't a nice name but I'm okay with it," said Solar.
"It's actually a really sweet name," said Sparkle.
"Thank you, now tell me your name," insisted Solar.
"No!" said Sparkle.
"Fine! Be that way, it's only a name," said Solar.
"It might sound stupid to you,  but it's important to me," said Sparkle.
"Which class do you teach?" asked Solar.
"I teach a lot of classes," said Sparkle.
"Do you like children?" asked Solar.
"Yes, do you?" asked Sparkle.
"Of course I do. How can I hate children when there is seven of them in my house?" said Solar.
"Can you tell me their names again?" asked Sparkle.
"Daniel, Samantha, Miral, Star, Moon, Sun, and Duane," recited Solar perfectly.
"I'm impressed, tell me more about Daniel," said Sparkle.
"Well, he is the oldest. We call him Danny. He is 15 years old. He is very active." said Solar.
"Ah, so he is in high school, which school did he go to before?" asked Sparkle. Solar remained silent for a moment.
"He didn't go to a school, I taught them at home," said Solar sadly.
"Well, we have a an open space for a teacher. How about your wife comes and work here since she has teaching experience? Or you could come, it'd be an honour to work with you," said Sparkle.
"Sure, so can my children come see the school?" said Solar.
"Anytime, so how's your wife doing with all these children while you're out?" asked Sparkle. Solar became uncomfortable. He turned his head to the window.
"I'd prefer not to talk about her," said Solar. Suddenly a memory returned to him. They were playing on the grass. Duane was only two. His wife was lying on the soft green grass. Duane was walking to a water fountain. He tripped and got hurt. Then they went to the hospital.
"Solar, Solar, Solar!" exclaimed Sparkle. The memory was gone.
"Yes," said Solar.
"Did you hear what I just said?"
"No"
"Well then,"
"Sorry. Do you have children of your own?"
"Yes"
"What's their names?"
"I have one daughter named Light. She has siblings but they live with their father"
"I like her name"
"Thank you"
"Maybe she could meet my children, how old is she?"
"12 years old"
"Like Star"
"Yeah"
"Where is your husband now?"
"He didn't tell me where he went" Sparkle started crying.
"I'm sorry for asking you"
"It's okay. I think it's fine"
"No it isn't. I just got curious"
"I know he'll come back one day with my children"
"Yeah, maybe"
"Maybe your wife and my children are in a better place,"
"Do you feel depressed?"
"No"
"Don't feel bad, I know your position"
"I appreciate it"
"Okay"
"Solar?"
"Yes."
"Never mind,"
"What?"
"Nothing"
"Tell me"
"It was dumb"
"Okay, whatever,"
"Whatever"
"Do you know a woman named Mona?"
"Mona who?"
"I don't know her last name,"
"Married to Harry?"
"Yes"
"Rich woman, with a daughter?"
"Exactly"
"Yeah, why?"
"I just wanted to know,"
"She was ahem"
"What was she?"
"Nothing"
"It doesn't matter what you say. You can trust me. Do you trust me?"
"We just met"
"Yeah but I thought...."
"Thought what?"
"Well I already feel like we've known each other for a long time,"
"I kinda did too"


That was a bit awkward. Who is this woman? Why doesn't she want to reveal her name?

Chapter 8

"I can't take it anymore!" shouted Harry while pulling his hair. Sam looked concerned.
"Um, Mr. Mach sir, are you ok?" said Sam scared.
"Okay? Okay? I feel like I'm going crazy," said Harry.
"You can go home to get some rest," said Sun. Harry put his hands on his face.
"It's okay, I'm sorry. So what do you guys do for entertainment?" said Harry. All but Harry laid low.
"I'm sorry," said Harry.
"Nothing much," said Danny as he shrugged.
"Don't you have anything electronic?" said Harry. Sun got a bit angry, then she cracked.
"No, we don't. If you want things like that go back to your fun-filled house and leave us alone. Just because we don't have money, doesn't mean you are better than us!" shouted Sun at Harry. She went inside, Miral followed her. Harry looked shocked.
"I'm sorry for her behavior, she is usually well behaved but I don't know what happened," said Danny trying to make Harry feel better.
"It's my fault, I shouldn't have asked you about your personal lives," said Harry.
"No, no she was just in a bad mood," said Sam.
"Sun, what happened?" asked Miral concerned.
"Leave me alone Miral," said Sun.
"It's okay, I'm your sister," said Miral.
"Well do me a favor and leave me alone sister," said Sun. Miral sighed.
"Sun please. You know he was just...."said Miral. Sun interrupted her.
"He was just what? Just what Miral?" asked Sun as she faced Miral. Miral looked down.
"He was just homesick and missed his family," said Miral sadly. Sun looked at Miral. She went to comfort her. Miral started crying.
"It's okay Miral. We will find her soon," said Sun encouragingly. Star came in and saw Miral crying.
"What's the matter?" said Star. Sun stood up and groan loudly.
"You just have to ruin everything, don't you?" said Sun to Star.
"I just asked..," said Star. Sun interrupted her.
"Well, I don't care. I bet our family could be in a house like Harry's if it weren't for you...," said Sun. Star build up the courage to talk back to her.
"Oh, so I ruined this family right? What about you? You are nothing like Moon. At least he doesn't shout at guests that our dad told to stay with us. You're never gonna reach the expectations of anyone," said Star.
"Stop this right now you two! If we started fighting, then how will we fight through this stage? All you care about is yourselves. And I thought I was the bad one," said Miral. Sun looked at Star as if she just blew up the earth. Sun put her arm around Miral's shoulders.
"If I can't reach the expectations of anyone, you can't either," said Sun.
"Sun! Apologize to Star," said Miral.
"Apologize to this slug, no thanks," said Sun. She pointed her finger up and down Star.
"Star, apologize to Sun then," said Miral.
"Miral please, I just-just-just can't," said Star. Miral looked hurt.
"I would expect this from Sun yes, but from you, Star? I thought I'd never see the day that my own sisters wouldn't even say one word. I just can't do this anymore. I'm giving you one last chance, take it or leave it," said Miral.
"Hey!" said Sun. Star and Sun looked at each other. Star looked at Miral. Sun inhaled.
"I'm s-s-sorry. Sorry that I'm in the same house as you," said Sun. Star started crying. She went to Miral for comfort, but Miral pushed her and walked towards the door. Star hit her head. Miral shook her head. She went outside.
"Miral what happened?" asked Sam.
"Nothing happened, Sam can you come and talk to me for a second?" asked Miral. Sam went with Miral.
"So what's up?" asked Sam.
"I love you," said Miral as she went to hug her. She started crying.
"What's the matter?" asked Sam.
"Sun, and even Star, don't listen to me. So I decided to be your friend so they can realize how important they are to each other," said Miral.
"What?" asked Sam.
